Barry Conner's interests and activities have seldom been very far removed from the arts. From a toddler playing with crayons or paint, to an accomplished professional artist, Barry is a writer, a poet, a singer/songwriter, and a musician as well. An amateur naturalist from childhood with rare and in-born artistic passion and giftings, he now adds a lifetime of experience and valuable training in Fine Art, which serves for his creation of original paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, jewelry, and in many other artistic media. His range of work is extremely diverse, but his main emphasis is in expressive, large-format paintings. With an established internet presence as well, his artwork has garnered a growing following of collectors, fans, and friends. And Rachelann's idea for this new venture seemed a great transition, even opening up floral design as creative artistic sculpture. The business would include an art studio and gallery space, featuring Barry's work, and the juried artwork of other local and regional artists. And Barry would offer art classes and workshops open to students with abilities ranging from beginning to advanced.
